1.-3.8. Vilnius, Lithuania
We spent 3 days in very hot Vilnius and participated at 3 shows.
1.8. at Int. Vilnius Summer Show-08 Karvin Dazzling Copy "Linda" was placed 2nd in intermediate class with excellent, judge Ms Kirsi Nieminen, Finland.
2.8. Int. Baltic Winner show-08 Linda was placed 3rd with excellent in intermediate class. Judge Mr Luis Pinto Texeira, Portugal.
3.8. at the Lithuanian Retriever Club Winnershow Linda was 2nd with exc. in intermediate class. Judge Mr Eivind Mjaerum, Norway.
It was a very nice trip to Lithuania, my first visit there and I enjoyed the beautiful weather, the friendly people and seeing the many nice dogs at the show. On our way back to the north we stopped for a while on the long, sandy beach at the Latvian coastline. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed playing in the sea and on the beach :)

15.7. Virrat, Field Qualifying Test
Linda, Karvin Dazzling Copy participated at the Field Qualifying test in Virrat. She did some nice work. The retrieveing from water went well as did the fetching of the crows in the freesearching area in the forest at first... after retrieving the 3rd bird she decided she had done enough and started to dwell around in the beautiful forest terrain and taking short baths in the clear creek at the corner of the area. Thanks Linda for that nerve wrecking experience, that was so much fun, we'll have to do it again sometime :) The patient judge was Mr Ossi Kähärä.

18.5 Espoo, Finnish GRC Club Show, open show for Golden retrievers
Polo, Guess Giacomo made his debut in senior class, how time flies...;-) He ended up BIS-2 Senior at this traditional open show for golden retrievers. Judged by Mrs Kristina Wikner, Kennel Cremecastle, Sweden.

Polo's daughter: Ch GUTTA Herkus (Guess Giacomo - LTU, LVCh Erima Herkus) won the champion class, was best bitch with the Polish CC and finally BOB at the Polish retriever club specialty show in Plock on May 10th. On top of this she was BIS-1 at the show! The breed was judged by Mr Per Iversen, Norway.
On the next day Gutta participated at an all breed national championship show where she again won best bitch, her 2nd Polish CC and was finally again BOB. The goldens were judged by another retriever specialist from Norway, Mr Jan Roger Sauge.

06.04. Pälkäne, inofficial dummy retrieving test "Pirkan Damit 2008"
"Linda" (Karvin Dazzling Copy), "Nemo" (Fairfield Firefinlandia) and "Molly" (Joystep's Touch of Pink) represented the Pääkaupunkiseudun Kultaiset (the Golden club that represents the region of the Helsinki) at one of the biggest dummy tests held in Finland. It was a great day out in the forest and good experience for all of us. All dogs did well, despite their totally nervous handlers :) Thank you Tuija and Vicki for great company and the super team spirit ;-)
